The mission of JCYL is to provide a lifelong commitment to leadership in Jefferson Parish.

The program is open to Jefferson Parish high school junior and senior students in public, private, and parochial schools. The curriculum includes an opening and closing/graduation ceremony, as well as instruction on relevant topics in key areas.

One of the many positive learning experiences is an opportunity to meet key officials and business leaders in Jefferson Parish.

JCYL is FREE to both schools and students. It is our aim to give students an opportunity to grow their leadership and teamwork skills while making a marked impact on the community.
